Far Beyond Creative's photographer Jo Mertens was born in The Netherlands. From the age of 16 photography has always been part of her life. She loved travelling thoughout Europe and the USA. She visited many countries, always carrying one or more cameras to register the beauty of the colourful landscapes, nature and cities and made them her treasures to share with others and to look back on in less colourful times. Her work has been exhibited in an Amsterdam Art Gallery, published in Dutch digital photography magazines and featured in an Italian online gallery.
In 2004 Jo and her familiy started to investigate the posibility of moving to New Zealand. It has been a long existing wish of Jo to come to this part of the world. And it became reality, in 2005 the family moved to New Zealand. Now they've built up their lives here they feel it as a privilege to be residents of this beautiful country and to live amongst people who are proud to be New Zealanders. For Jo it's also an ongoing inspiration for her work.
Jo now specialises in New Zealand architectural, lifestyle, nature, aerial, art and stock photography. Please enjoy a virtual voyage through the website.

Nature is Everywhere
